This is my answer to the problem of users who register to only place a link to a website in their profile. I call them link spammers.  This module gives you the ability to stop them in their tracks. As admin, you can add links that are known to be used by spammers. You can also delete links that are entered by error. This is more of a reactive approach instead of proactive.
