Hey Bobby:

When I used phpNuke with NukeC 3.7.4, I could see my categories. RavenNuke 2.40 used with NukeC 3.7.5 show no categories. What could be the problem?

Thank you.

I assume this is a fresh install. If so, after you ran the installer, did you have any categories created? If not, it could be the table could have timed out when you ran the installer.

I did not create any new categories if that what you mean. It is a fresh installation.
When I go into phpMyAdmin, It show 145 categories, but they do not appear when posting.
Folder permission is set to 777.

What do you mean by: TIMED OUT?

Thanks

If they are in phpmyadmin, it did not time out. I will do some more testing and see if I can recreate the issue. Try downloading it again and reinstall it.

Before contacting you I reinstalled NuckeC 3.7.5 about three times by uploading all Folders and Files to replace current Folders and Files on the server. Then I uploaded the install file with a success message at the end. I then deleted the install file.

Thanks as always,
Mike

I deleted NukeC 3.7.5 module and tables inside of phpMyAdmin. I then re-installed NukeC tables and nothing changed. Everything looks normal except categories still not showing up.

Thank you.

I am still looking into this Mike. I need some more information. If you could, send me a PM with your site name. Also, if you click on the disclaimer, is there any info there? I am working on a revised installer that may fix the issue. It will not be ready for a few more days though.

Currently this subdomain is locked. Yes! SubDomain. I forget to tell you, because RavenNuke 2.40 has a subdomain configuration. phpMyAdmin and NukeC 3.7.5 Disclaimer is correct, but do not display.

I’m now thinking a Path problem. I had similar display problems before when I installed RavenNuke 2.40 on its subdomain.

I hope this help.

Thank you.

I played with the following NukeC 3.7.5 Paths under RavenNuke 2.40 subdomain:
modules/NukeC/imageads/
modules/NukeC/imagecatg/

Nothing got better or worse. It’s as if NukeC 3.7.5 and phpMyAdmin settings has no affect on the categories. The one ad I posted appear just fine.

Thanks

I will set up a test RN install in a subdomain as soon as I can and test it.

Visitors can not see the list of Categories or the Disclaimer Link, but they can see the one Ad posted and able to view Details. Ad display is perfect. Upload Image is turned off.

If I edit the Ad, I am able to see and choose the Categories.

Even though, the Subdomain and the Destination Root Subfolder has a different Name, RavenNuke 2.40 has been set to work perfectly. This link solved many major problems I had with RavenNuke and phpNuke installed on a Subdomain. This link supports Domains and Subdomains Installations. THIS LINK DO NOT SUPPORT NUKEC.

In config.php, are the values for $prefix and $user_prefix the same? Also try adjusting the folder permissions to 755 and file permissions to 644.

Yes, they are the same.
$prefix = 'nuke';
$user_prefix = 'nuke';
$dbtype = 'MySQL';

From what folder should I start permissions?

Thank you.
