phpBB 3.0.10 - Standalone Installation:

It's all anyone would want, in a Internet forum or message board.

Forget about the login and logout problems.
Forget about the member list problems.
Forget about the forums not being identical.
Leave the bridge alone.

Sit back and enjoy what your internet forum or message board can do for you, without interference.

Try it, and call me in the morning.

Thank you.

I am going to try and put a demo of the 3.0.10 module bridge on this site this weekend... The nice thing about a bridge is that the forum functions like it was intended to by the phpBB team...

Thank you Bobby!

I would love to compare your installation here at TrickedOutNews, to my previous bridge installation.

Whatever you do, please do not convince me to reinstall the bridge.

Thanks again.

phpBB 3.0.10 - Playing with Permissions

I personally believe that the key to phpBB is understanding permissions for the board. It reminds me of when I had a cookie problem. Problems across the board.

For about a week of testing, I begin to ask myself why? Why? And now I know why. Understanding permissions.

My board is my baby, Rolling Eyes and it's better. I love it.

Bobby, you are doing what I asked you not to. "Whatever you do, please do not convince me to reinstall the bridge."

I like this demo: http://trickedoutnews.com/modules.php?name=phpBB3&file=viewforum&f=2, it sends so many possibilities in and out of my mind, that would convince me to reinstall the bridge.

If RavenNuke 2.40.01, and phpBB 3.0.10, plus the bridge, had only one member list, only one sign in, and only one forum, I would be totally convinced to use the bridge.

On the other hand, I have learned a lot more about my standalone install from this demo.

Thank you. Surprised
