The Podcast module is nothing but a copy of the Downloads module. It uses separate database files so it will not interfere with the downloads module. The podcastfeed.php works well with Juice Podcast Receiver. It does not work with Itunes. I have tested it with several other podcast receivers and they all work. Hopefully I will get it working with Itunes in the near feature. You can test it out on this site.
