What modules, blocks or themes would you like to see made for RavenNuke?
Give me an idea of what is needed to make RavenNuke even better. What do you personally need on your site that is not offered already?

This really isn't something new, but what about sprucing up the weblinks module? It is rather dated. I'm not sure how many people actually use it, but it is the first thing that came to mind.

Some suggestions:

- NSN Group Downloads Module ported to work with raven's
- A "Thank You" mod in Forums and News like the Vbulletin one (or better Wink)
- And, the most important for me: An option (when cretating or editing an article) in the Triked out Mods Module who creates a forum post for comments... (I Know the old and abandoned ForumNews module but I don`t want to loose the tricked out one!).

Thanks for your great work Smile

Those are some good ideas guys. Good news on the NSN Groups Downloads, Montego is working on that now. He is fixing the bugs in it and making it XHTML compliant.

I think dadanuke has one that uses mapquest. I will check it out and make sure it works.

Edit: I installed it on my test site and it seems to work well with RavenNuke 2.40.1

I like your bottom menu here with Get Social, etc. Is that hard-coded or is it configurable in RN? Smile Integrating this with some Meebo stuff...nice!

It is a custom bar I have been working on for RavenNuke. It uses Jixedbar and prettySociable.

When (If) I finish, it will be controllable by an admin interface where any kind of info can be placed in it.

I don't get the prettySociable part. Dragging stuff to share it? If you must... And I don't see the integration (though, as I get older, it gets harder to see stuff anyway!)

But the jixedbar part is really cool! Another navigation option. The documentation appears to be pretty good - really nice xref on the CSS classes. Time for an updated list of jQuery navigation options!

LOL. The only things I am using the prettySociable on are my story titles on the index. I agree that the drag to link can be a PITA. With PS you have to add the rel before it drags so you have total control of what is shared.

And funny thing is, I used to hate the bottom link bars until I found this one. You can literally add anything you want to to it. It is also completely theme-able. Using $ThemeSel you could match it with what ever theme the user is using.

[EDIT: This was a duplicate post because something weird happened when I was posting the first time...]

The jixedbar would be a nice nav option. One thing I hate about sites that you have to scroll down on is not having links when you get to the bottom and have to scroll all the way back to the top. A fixed bar addresses that issue well. The jixedbar needs a little css modification to work with all the themes out of the box. Having the ability to make it match your theme is a big plus. Also being XHTML compliant is great too. I found a jQuery facebook like plugin that is XHTML compliant. http://onerutter.com/open-source/jquery-facebook-like-plugin.html
